Tī 關山教會做工ê時,有去參觀孫牧師娘設ê山地肺癆療養所,che攏是免費入院,山地人真濟著肺病,實在有可憐,向望主會醫治chiah-e人,hō͘ in心神肉體攏受醫治。我koh幾若擺去參觀山地保母學校,tī hia做工ê時,in tú teh期考,40名ê學生,為著考試拚到無暝無日,考題實在真淺,總是tī 這幾日久有3個學生起痟,hō͘其餘ê學生kap先生著大驚。我問in,發痟著偌久才會好?In講考試了就好去lah,thang知考試是in真大ê驚惶kap重擔。

Thian-chú-kàu tī tang-pō͘ ēng chin chōe pún-chîⁿ khí pài-tn̂g, in sòa soan-thoân Sai-pō͘ bô Tiúⁿ-ló-kàu lah, lóng hoán-lâi sìn Thian-chú. Só͘-í chōe-chōe sìn-tô͘ mn̄g góa kóng, tàu-tí sī sū-si̍t á m̄ sī? Hō͘ góa siūⁿ-liáu chin hó chhiò, góa ēng Sin-heng kàu-hōe chò lé-pài ê hoàn-teng-phìⁿ hō͘ in khòaⁿ, kap khì Kah-sian khai-bō͘ tián-lé chhiàⁿ 7 tâi iû-lám chhia ê hoàn-teng-phìⁿ hō͘ in khòaⁿ, in chiū bêng-pe̍k Thian-chú-kàu ê pe̍h-chha̍t soan-thoân. Ū só͘-chāi, î-bîn-chhoan tī kong-ho̍k āu, hō͘ pún-séng lâng chiap-siu lâi, chiū chiong sîn-siā kái chò biō hō͘ lâng kèng-pài ngó͘-siōng, nā sī sîn-siā san-tē lâng chiap-siu lâi, in chiū kái-chò lé-pài-tn̂g. Kiaⁿ-liáu “chōe-chōe tāi-seng ê beh chò lō͘-bóe, iā chōe-chōe lō͘-bóe ê beh chò tāi-seng” góa sìn chit kù ōe ōe si̍t-hiān tī san-tē kàu-hōe. 咱若想著台北、台中、台南、高雄、屏東等ê好教會,就beh想講是長老會ê大教會,總是事實台灣長老會,第一大間ê教會是東部阿美族ê光復教會,這間教會做禮拜只頂晡有600人以上,祈禱會有300外人,咱平地ê教會有95年ê歷史,有一間規模chiah大ê教會抑無?In現在tī 神社地起一間長100尺,闊40尺,水泥鐵筋ê禮拜堂,in所用ê鐵支真大,因為驚地動kap風颱ê關係,這個舊神社地是一粒ê小山,tī光復最懸ê所在,環境真好,坐汽油車看得真清楚,beh爬上山頂ê入口,也是有一個大神社ê門,tú好kap壽豐教會相同ê環境,不過這間拜堂才起到窗頂ê所在,現時iáu無錢thang繼續進行工事,我問in工事費預定偌濟?In講阮bōe曉預算,只有起到好為止。這款信心kap奉獻ê精神,kiám有較輸平地教會mah?驚了「濟濟代先--ê beh做路尾,也濟濟路尾--ê beh做代先」我信這句話會實現tī山地教會。

Phì-jū lâi kóng, 3 nî chêng góa khì thàm-hóng Bān-lêng kàu-hōe, hit sî chí-ū chi̍t keng phòa-chháu-liâu ê pài-tn̂g, in khòaⁿ-kìⁿ keh-piah chi̍t-keng bo̍k-chō phín-khì (???) chin súi ê Thian-chú-tn̂g, chiū koat-sim beh khí sin pài-tn̂g, te̍k-pia̍t Hū-jîn-hōe múi chi̍t ê hōe-oân, gī-koat chhī chi̍t chiah ti lâi hōng-hiàn, kàu góa kū-nî 9 ge̍h koh khì hóng-būn in ê sî, chiū khòaⁿ-tio̍h chi̍t keng tú khí hó ê, chúi-nî thi̍h-kin ê sin pài-tn̂g, hō͘ góa siū chin tōa ê kám-kek, tī keh-piah ê Thian-chú-tn̂g liân ōe thang pí-tit to͘ bōe, hō͘ lán chai in khí pài-tn̂g ê jia̍t-sêng, chì-khì sī jōa-n̍i̍h tōa? 東部ê山地教會,現在是建堂最高潮ê時期,我tī 舊年親目看見--ê,有12間,chiah-e攏是平地ê山地教會,m̄ 免入山証,in所製ê藍圖攏是現代式ê建築物,tùi成十萬箍,起到幾十萬箍不等,in會thang用省錢起súi koh勇ê厝,hit個起法是án-ni:水泥、鐵條、瓦,用錢去買,木料、沙攏會友家己出工採集,師父工請會友做,總是工錢真俗,小工一概會友做公工,所以會thang省3份1 ê費用,實在真thang做咱ê模範,in每間只有得著山地處小部份ê幫贊,以外無tàng tê錢,只有家己粒積奉獻。譬如來講:3年前我去探訪萬寧教會,hit時只有一間破草寮ê拜堂,in看見隔壁一間木造品氣(???)真súi ê天主堂,就決心beh起新拜堂,特別婦人會每一個會員,議決飼一隻豬來奉獻,到我舊年9月koh去訪問in ê時,就看著一間tú起好--ê,水泥鐵筋ê新拜堂,hō͘我受真大ê感激,tī 隔壁ê天主堂連會thang比得都bōe,hō͘咱知in起拜堂ê熱誠,志氣是偌n̍i̍h大?
Chhàu Sim-koaⁿ-hiàn Nōa Chhâi-liāu 臭心肝獻爛材料
Sin-káng Lîm bo̍k-su, chhōa góa thàm-hóng hù-kīn chi̍t-keng A-mī-cho̍k ê kàu-hōe, in chí-ū 20 gōa hō͘, iā khí chi̍t-keng 7, 8 bān-kho͘ ê sin pài-tn̂g, thiaⁿ kóng hiàn chîⁿ hiàn kang í-gōa, chi̍t ê hōe-iú tio̍h koh hiàn chi̍t ê thang-liāu, kî-tiong chi̍t ê thang-kheng sī í-keng pháiⁿ khì lah. Goán kóng chit ê thang-liāu bô hó, chi̍t-ūi tiúⁿ-ló kóng, chit ê hōe-iú sìn-gióng chhàu khì, só͘-í hiàn chit ê nōa ê thang-liāu (??信者?信仰?臭?????臭??????獻上 ??) chit kù ōe iā hō͘ góa siū tōa kám-tōng, lán m̄ chai bat ēng nōa ê mi̍h. hiàn hō͘ Chú á m̄ bat? Lán tio̍h chin kín-sīn. 新港林牧師,chhōa我探訪附近一間阿美族ê教會,in只有20外戶,也起一間7、8萬箍ê新拜堂,聽講獻錢獻工以外,一個會友著koh獻一個窗料,其中一個窗框是已經歹去lah。阮講這個窗料無好,一位長老講,這個會友信仰臭去,所以獻這個爛ê窗料。(??信者?信仰?臭?????臭??????獻上 ??)這句話也hō͘我受大感動,咱m̄知bat用爛ê物。獻hō͘主抑m̄ bat?咱著真謹慎。
Chi-oán (???) Kì-Liām-tn̂g Chi-oán(???)紀念堂
Chi-oán chit-ūi hok-im ê lú chiàn-sū, sī Thai-ia-lu cho̍k (????) tiong bô lâng m̄ bat ê, tī Ji̍t-chèng sî-tāi i chin hoaⁿ-hí lô-khó͘ thoân hok-im tī tâng-cho̍k ê tiong-kan, kong-ho̍k āu ū lâng siá chi̍t pún chheh kiò chòe “I chhōa in chhut”, iā thang kóng sī “Chi-oán toān”. Sun bo̍k-su ūi-tio̍h beh siàu-liām i thoân hok-im hi-seng ê cheng-sîn, tī Thài-ló͘-kok ji̍p kháu ê soaⁿ-kha ūi i khí chi̍t keng “Chi-oán kì-liām lé-pài-tn̂g” sui-jiân khí bô tōa-keng, chóng-sī chin gē-su̍t ê khí-hoat (chhin-chhiūⁿ Tâi-oân Sîn-ha̍k-īⁿ ēng chio̍h-thâu, thi̍h-kin, chúi-nî khí) ê chit keng kàu-hōe, iā thang kóng le̍k-sú siōng ta̍t-tit kì-liām ê kàu-hōe, tī chia khoân-kéng súi, thang hō͘ hoâiⁿ-koàn, So͘-hoa nn̄g kong-lō͘ ê lú-kheh tám-gióng (瞻仰) Ki-tok-tô͘ ê thoân-kàu cheng-sîn, chin-chiàⁿ thoân hok-im ê lâng, in ê kha-pō͘ súi kàu cháiⁿ-iūⁿ?” Goán chi̍t-hêng sì-miâ ji̍p Thài-ló͘-kok oán-chiok, tú-hó hoâiⁿ-koàn kong-lō͘ siū chúi-chai tōa sún-hāi, kui-tiâu ê chúi-nî lō͘, lóng lâu pháiⁿ, ko͘-put-chiong tio̍h koh ēng pōng-chí pōng soaⁿ-phiâⁿ. Kúi-nā pah lâng teh chò kong-kéng hō͘ goán tio̍h-kiaⁿ, ūi-tio̍h beh khui chit tiâu lō͘ hiah khó͘-sim mah? Thang chai lán ê Chú thè lán khui chi̍t-tiâu éng-oa̍h ê lō͘, só͘ chhut ê tāi-kè jōa-tōa, lán iā tio̍h án-ni bô hiâm lô-khó͘ thàn ki-hōe thoân tō-lí hō͘ hiah ê bī tit-kiù ê lâng lâi pò-tap Chú ê tōa un. Thài-ló͘-kok ê kéng-tì chin súi, góa ài chhiáⁿ chu-ūi tho̍k-chiá ū ki-hōe khì thit-thô, lí chiū beh kám-kak Siōng-tè chhòng-chō ê kî-biāu kap úi-tāi. Thiaⁿ kóng Thian-siông ê kéng-tì koh khah súi, chóng-sī hit sî lō͘ pháiⁿ bōe tit ji̍p. Chi-oán這位福音ê女戰士,是泰雅族(????)中無人m̄ bat--ê,tī 日政時代伊真歡喜勞苦傳福音tī同族ê中間,光復後有人寫一本冊叫做《伊chhōa in出》,也thang講是《Chi-oán傳》。孫牧師為著beh數念伊傳福音犧牲ê精神,tī 太魯閣入口ê山腳為伊起一間「Chi-oán紀念禮拜堂」雖然起無大間,總是真藝術ê起法(親像台灣神學院用石頭、鐵筋、水泥起)ê這間教會,也thang講歷史上值得紀念ê教會,tī chia環境súi,thang hō͘ 橫貫、蘇花兩公路ê旅客瞻仰基督徒ê傳教精神,真正傳福音ê人,in腳步súi到怎樣?」阮一行四名入太魯閣遠足,tú好橫貫公路受水災大損害,歸條ê水泥路,攏流歹,姑不chiong著koh用磅籽磅山坪。幾若百人teh做光景hō͘ 阮著驚,為著beh開這條路hiah苦心mah?Thang知咱ê主替咱開一條永活ê路,所出ê代價偌大,咱也著án-ni無嫌勞苦趁機會傳道理hō͘ hiah-e未得救ê人來報答主ê大恩。太魯閣ê景致真súi,我ài請諸位讀者有機會去thit-thô,你就beh感覺上帝創造ê奇妙kap偉大。聽講天祥ê景致koh較súi,總是hit時路歹bōe得入。

Tī東部有3間讀冊免錢ê學校,就是咱長老會kap孫牧師娘個人所設--ê。頭一間是玉山神學書院,位置是tī 壽豐池南村,tùi花蓮到壽豐,有公路汽車tùi書院經過,hia-e山水景致極其好,花蓮縣想beh將hit位做風景區,致到師院新校舍ê建設受濟濟ê阻礙,現時學校只有幾間竹仔厝tī 山坪,頭前有一個大埤也有山,景致真súi,親像一幅ê圖。阮tī 壽豐做工ê時,有2擺去hia划船釣魚,也tī學校食飯,校長高牧師真認真經營學院,學生tī功課以外,有整理學校用地,懸低掘hō͘ 平,無路造到有路,koh也有造林,栽柑仔,攏是先生學生相kap做,有一位張牧師對這方面真有經驗。Tī 禮拜日學生受派到山地本族ê教會去做工。這間學校,總是事實前途iáu真濟困難,咱著多多為這間學校代禱。

Tùi chit keng ha̍k-hāu í-keng chhut chin chōe lāu-su, hiān-chāi thiaⁿ kóng sī 2 nî chè, Ô͘ bo̍k-su kiam hāu-tiúⁿ teh liāu-lí, in iā sī tha̍k-chheh, chia̍h-pn̄g lóng bián chîⁿ, só͘-í san-tē lú-chú chin ài tha̍k. Koh來第二間是tī 關山鎮,交通利便,所在合用,是孫牧師娘設--ê,有40名ê山地女子tùi逐族ê所在派來讀冊,起頭是讀半年久,就畢業派去各教會教幼稚園,雖然只有讀半年,總是in有音樂ê天才,彈琴、教歌、遊戲,攏有特色,無輸平地教會幼稚園教ê節目。Tùi這間學校已經出真濟老師,現在聽講是2年制,胡牧師兼校長teh料理,in也是讀冊、食飯攏免錢,所以山地女子真ài讀。

Hòng-tōng Chò Thoân-tō 放蕩做傳道
Lō͘-ka 15 chiuⁿ só͘ siá ê hòng-tōng chú, tû-khì lāu-pē ê thiàⁿ, kap hòng-tōng chú ê hoán-hóe, sī bô sím-mi̍h hō͘ lán hó ê ìn-siōng, te̍k-pia̍t chit 2 jī hòng-tōng, góa thiaⁿ liáu bô kám-kak hó thiaⁿ, chóng-sī tī san-tē ê soan-tō-su tiong ū chi̍t-ūi kiò chò Ia̍p Hòng-tōng ê, Chú tiàu i chhut-lâi thoân hok-im, Un bo̍k-su kā góa kài-siāu kóng, chit ūi chiū-sī “Hòng-tōng thoân-tō”, goân-lâi sī i ê miâ kiò Hòng-tōng, i í-keng chin jia̍t-sim teh chò Chú ê kang beh chhōa hiah ê hòng-tōng ê kiáⁿ-jî, tńg-lâi kui-ho̍k tī chû-ài ê Thiⁿ-pē. In-ūi Chú bat kóng, “Pháiⁿ lâng tiong ū chi̍t lâng hoán-hóe chiū tī thiⁿ-n̍i̍h iā beh án-ni ūi-tio̍h i hoaⁿ-hí”. 路加15章所寫ê放蕩子,除去老父ê疼,kap放蕩子ê反悔,是無甚mi̍h hō͘ 咱好ê印象,特別這2字放蕩,我聽了無感覺好聽,總是tī 山地ê宣道師中有一位叫做葉放蕩--ê,主召伊出來傳福音,溫牧師kā我介紹講,這位就是「放蕩傳道」,原來是伊ê名叫放蕩,伊已經真熱心teh做主ê工beh chhōa hiah-e放蕩ê子兒,轉來歸服tī慈愛ê天父。因為主bat講:「歹人中有一人反悔就tī天--n̍i̍h也beh án-ni為著伊歡喜」。
Sím-mi̍h Sī Siōng-tè Ê Chí-ì 甚mi̍h是上帝ê旨意
Tī 1959 nî ê 7 ge̍h, goán tī Tâi-tang kàu-hōe hioh-mê, kap chi̍t ūi tùi Sai-pō͘ beh khì hù-jīm ê tâng-kang, tâng pâng-keng, i chin hùn-khài tong-kio̍k ê lâng, thàn jîn-chêng chò sū, bô chiàu hoat-tō͘, i koh kóng chiàu thiu-khau m̄ sī góa tio̍h lâi Tang Tiong chò-kang, chóng-sī in-ūi bó͘ lâng m̄ lâi chiū tu góa lâi, án-ni kiám iā sī Siōng-tè ê chí-ì mah? I si̍t-chāi chin hùn-khài, nā sī góa an-ùi i kóng, kiám-chhái hiah ê lâng án-ni chòe, iā sī ū Siōng-tè ê hó chí-ì. Keng-kòe chi̍t-ge̍h ji̍t āu, góa khì i ê kàu-hōe chò kang, thiaⁿ kóng i í-keng kap chi̍t-ūi Tang-pō͘ chhut-miâ ê bo̍k-su ê chhian-kim tēng-hun, (hit ūi sió-chiá bat chò góa ê thong-e̍k), góa koh mn̄g hit ê tâng-kang kóng, tàu-tí lí lâi Tang-pō͘ chò kang sī Siōng-tè ê chí-ì á m̄ sī? I ìn kóng, “Tek-khak sī!” Si̍t-chāi Chú ê chí-ì chin kî-biāu, kàu sî lán chiah ōe bêng-pe̍k, lán eng-kai tio̍h sūn-ho̍k Chú, chiah ōe siū chiok-hok. Tī 1959年ê 7月,阮tī台東教會歇暝,kap一位tùi西部beh去赴任ê同工同房間,伊真憤慨當局ê人,趁人情做事,無照法度,伊koh講照抽khau m̄ 是我著來東中做工,總是因為某人 m̄ 來就tu我來,án-ni kiám也是上帝ê旨意mah?伊實在真憤慨,若是我安慰伊講,kiám-chhái hiah-e人án-ni做,也是有上帝ê好旨意。經過一月日後,我去伊ê教會做工,聽講伊已經kap一位東部出名ê牧師ê千金訂婚,(Hit位小姐bat做我ê通譯),我koh問hit個同工講,到底你來東部做工是上帝ê旨意抑 m̄ 是?伊應講:「的確是!」實在主ê旨意真奇妙,到時咱才會明白,咱應該著順服主,才會受祝福。
Bêng-khián Thau Kā Ê 名犬偷咬鞋
Hù-lí ê Tiuⁿ bo̍k-su, chhī chi̍t chiah 4 chheng kho͘ ê káu-á kiáⁿ, i ēng chin chōe cheng-sîn kap hong-hoat teh kà, iā tùi Ji̍t-pún bóe chheh lâi tha̍k, í-keng ū kà chin chōe pō͘-sò͘ lah! Chóng-sī chit chiah káu-á ta̍k-àm to͘ lâi goán ê bîn-chhn̂g-kha kā phôe-ê, goán chiū kā bo̍k-su kóng, bo̍k-su chiū kà káu m̄ thang kā lâng-kheh thau kā ê, nā sī káu-á lóng m̄ thiaⁿ chú-lâng ê ōe, chin-chiàⁿ Bêng-khián thau kā ôe. Kin-á-ji̍t chōe-chōe Ki-tok-tô͘ iā sī chhin-chhiūⁿ Bêng-khián ōe thau kā ê, in iáu ōe lim-chiú, chia̍h-hun, chhoh-pháiⁿ chhùi, khah kóng to m̄ kóe. 富里ê張牧師,飼一隻4千箍ê狗仔子,伊用真濟精神kap方法teh教,也tùi日本買冊來讀,已經有教真濟步數lah!總是這隻狗仔逐暗都來阮ê眠床腳咬皮鞋,阮就kā牧師講,牧師就教狗 m̄ thang kā人客偷咬鞋,若是狗仔攏 m̄ 聽主人ê話,真正名犬偷咬鞋。今仔日濟濟基督徒也是親像名犬會偷咬鞋,in iáu會lim酒、食薰、chhoh歹嘴,khah講都m̄改。
Ki-su̍t Būn-tôe 技術問題

Góa khì chò kang ê sî, sian-siⁿ kap thài-thài iā sī seng kā góa thong-ti, góa kóng góa ê ki-su̍t ún-tàng khah hó, chhiáⁿ bián khòa-ì, kàu khùn tiong-tàu khí-lâi, sûi-sî thâu-khak kòng chi̍t-lûi, sian-siⁿ hu-hū tī in ê pâng-keng chhiò kàu ha̍h ha̍h kiò, sòa kóng lí ê ki-su̍t ū iáⁿ bōe bái to-tio̍h, chhin-chhiūⁿ án-ni Ki-tok-tô͘ nā bô kín-sīn, chí khò ka-kī chiū beh sit-pāi, nā ū iáⁿ ki-su̍t jōa-hó? 鳳林教會人客廳ê門真低,總鋪頂到門眉才 4尺外,所以beh出房間若無注意會磕著頭殼,以前一位牧師去做工,先生講著注意,m̄ thang摃著頭殼,hit位牧師講:「Bōe lah!che是技術問題。」總是無一時仔久摃著2擺。我去做工ê時,先生kap太太也是先kā我通知,我講我ê技術穩當較好,請免掛意,到睏中晝起來,隨時頭殼摃一lûi,先生夫婦tī in ê房間笑到哈哈叫,續講你ê技術有影bōe bái都著,親像án-ni基督徒若無謹慎,只靠家己就beh失敗,那有影技術偌好?
Khòng Kâu Ka 炕猴ka
Iā sī tī Hōng-lîm kàu-hōe só͘ tú-tio̍h ê sū, thoân-tō sian-siⁿ hu-hū, ūi-tio̍h góa khì ta̍k àm to hiâⁿ e̍k-tháng chúi hō͘ góa sóe sin-khu, chóng-sī in hiâⁿ chúi sī ēng chit ê tōa seⁿ-tiáⁿ, chhin-chhiūⁿ e̍k-tháng hiah tōa, chit khoán tiáⁿ tāi-khài sī lông-chhoan ê lâng sa̍h ti-liāu teh ēng ê, tiáⁿ tóe ēng pang chū teh, chóng-sī nā lo̍h khì chìm, bô sòe-jī, pang cháu khì lī-khui tiáⁿ-té ōe ù-tio̍h sin-khu, sio-tio̍h chin thiàⁿ, in-ūi góa sī siùⁿ kâu, só͘-í ta̍k-pái nā beh lo̍h khì chìm, chiū kám-kak beh lo̍h-khì khòng kâu-ka chi̍t-iūⁿ, āu-lâi hō͘ sian-siⁿ in chai-iáⁿ, kàu sî-chūn chiū kiò kóng, “Tân sian-siⁿ chhiáⁿ lí lâi khòng kâu-ka.” 也是tī 鳳林教會所tú著ê事,傳道先生夫婦,為著我去逐暗都hiâⁿ 浴桶水hō͘ 我洗身軀,總是in焚水是用這個大seⁿ 鼎,親像浴桶hiah大,這款鼎大概是農村ê人sa̍h豬料teh用--ê,鼎底用枋chū teh,總是若落去浸,無細膩,枋走去離開鼎底會污著身軀,燒著真疼,因為我是相猴,所以逐擺若beh落去浸,就感覺beh落去炕猴ka一樣,後來hō͘先生in知影,到時陣就叫講:「陳--先生請你來炕猴ka。」
Góa Iā Sī Bô Pâi Ê 我也是無牌--ê
Gio̍k-lí kàu-hōe Chhòa tiúⁿ-ló, tī Tang-pō͘ ê kàu-hōe tāi-khài lâng lóng bat i, i chò i-seng, i-su̍t te̍k-pia̍t hó, tī kàu-hōe koh jia̍t-sim, i mn̄g góa kóng “Lí sī tó-ūi ê Sîn-ha̍k-hāu pit-gia̍p ê ”, góa sêng-si̍t tùi i kóng, “Góa bô tha̍k sím-mi̍h Sîn-ha̍k, nā chiàu it-poaⁿ lâi khòaⁿ, sī bô pâi ê.” I chin pháiⁿ-sè ê khoán, sûi-sî ìn kóng “Bô iàu-kín, góa chò i-seng iā sī bô pâi ê”. Si̍t-chāi sī tông-pēng siong-lîn. 玉里教會蔡長老,tī東部ê教會大概人攏bat伊,伊做醫生,醫術特別好,tī 教會koh熱心,伊問我講「你是tó位ê神學校畢業--ê」,我誠實對伊講:「我無讀甚mi̍h神學,若照一般來看,是無牌--ê。」伊真歹勢ê款,隨時應講「無要緊,我做醫生也是無牌--ê」。實在是同病相憐。

Tī Gio̍k-lí kàu-hōe iáu chi̍t ūi Lí tiúⁿ-ló, sī Kńg tang lâng, iā sī tiong i-su, i ê bīn kap hêng-thé, kap Chhòa tiúⁿ-ló chin saⁿ-tâng, bô saⁿ-tâng ê sī chí-ū kóng ōe. Ū chi̍t ji̍t goán 4 ūi tâng-kang khì thàm-hóng i, i chin hoaⁿ-hí, sûi-sî kiò tiúⁿ-ló-niû khì kiò 2 tōa phiat ê bah-pau, pún-sin khì chàu-kha phâng chi̍t tiáⁿ káu-bah, kó͘-bú goán chia̍h bah-pau, phòe káu-bah, góa í-gōa ê tâng-kang iáu m̄ bat chia̍h káu-bah, khí-thâu m̄ káⁿ chia̍h, chóng-sī bōe kham-tit i kó͘-bú, tāi-ke chiū o̍h chia̍h, chí-ū chi̍t ūi m̄ káⁿ chia̍h bah, iáu-kú káu-bah thng lim kàu pá, Lí tiúⁿ-ló kóng, Tâi-oân ê káu-bah chi̍t-kin 10 kho͘ chó-iū, nā sī Kńg-tang 3 kin ti-bah chiah ōe thang ōaⁿ chi̍t kin káu-bah, nā tī Tâi-oân bōe hiáu chia̍h káu-bah sī chin gōng, i tùi goán kóng ê goán lóng ū tông-ì ê khoán. Lia̍t-ūi tho̍k-chiá, lán kó͘-bú lâng sìn Iâ-so͘, ū chit-khoán ê jia̍t-chêng á-bô? Kiám m̄ sī khah su Lí tiúⁿ-ló teh kó͘-bú lâng chia̍h káu-bah mah? Tī 玉里教會iáu一位李長老,是廣東人,也是中醫師,伊ê面kap形體,kap蔡長老真相同,無相同--ê是只有講話。有一日阮4位同工去探訪伊,伊真歡喜,隨時叫長老娘去叫2大phiat ê肉包,本身去灶腳捧一鼎狗肉,鼓舞阮食肉包,配狗肉,我以外ê同工iáu m̄ bat食狗肉,起頭m̄ 敢食,總是bōe堪得伊鼓舞,大家就學食,只有一位m̄ 敢食肉,iáu-kú狗肉湯lim到飽,李長老講:「台灣ê狗肉一斤10箍左右,若是廣東3斤豬肉才會thang換一斤狗肉,若tī台灣bōe曉食狗肉是真憨。」伊對阮講--ê阮攏有同意ê款。列位讀者,咱鼓舞人信耶穌,有這款ê熱情抑無?Kiám m̄是較輸李長老teh鼓舞人食狗肉mah?
Góa M̄-tio̍h Chhōa 4 Chhioh Pòaⁿ Ê 我M̄著娶4尺半--ê
Tī Tang-pō͘ thoân-tō ê sî, bat tī 3 keng kàu-hōe káng-ián “Chheng-liân kap kiat-hun būn-tê”, múi hôe hù-hōe ê lâng ū chi̍t pah gōa, nn̄g pah, saⁿ pah, chit khoán ê sēng-hóng. Tī káng-ián tiong góa bat kóng-khí beh chò chhin ê lâm-lú, sin-thé ê koân-kē tio̍h ū phòe-ha̍p lâm ê tio̍h koân lú ê 3 chhùn chì 5 chhùn ê tiong-kan, góa káng-ián soah ê sî, ū chi̍t-ūi chheng-liân cháu lâi mn̄g góa kóng “Sian-siⁿ chiàu lí kóng, góa m̄ tio̍h chhōa 4 chhioh pòaⁿ ê? nā án-ni kiám m̄ sī ná seⁿ ná sòe-hàn?” Góa khòaⁿ i chin put-ho̍k góa ê soat, in-ūi i khah bô 4 chhioh 9, góa kā i kóng, “Nā sī lí kiám-chhái chhōa pí lí khah tōa-hàn ê khah hó”, in-ūi chit hō put-chāi tī lu̍t-hoat ē, sī tī un-tián ē. Tī東部傳道ê時,bat tī 3間教會講演「青年kap結婚問題」,每回赴會ê人有一百外、兩百、三百,這款ê盛況。Tī 講演中我bat講起beh做親ê男女,身體ê懸低著有配合男--ê著懸女--ê 3寸至5寸ê中間,我講演煞ê時,有一位青年走來問我講「先生照你講,我m̄著娶4尺半--ê?若án-ni kiám m̄是那生那細漢?」我看伊真不服我ê說,因為伊較無4尺9,我kā伊講:「若是你kiám-chhái娶比你較大漢--ê較好」,因為這號不在tī律法下,是tī 恩典下。

Iáu tī某教會,siāng款講演這個題目,hit暗約有3百名ê聽眾,猶原是講起beh做親ê男女,體格ê選擇著有適合,男女ê肥、瘦,著有適配,親像肥--ê配瘦--ê,瘦--ê娶肥--ê是真歹看,kap烏鶖娶水牛無各樣,總是結婚後才變形--ê不在此限,聽眾大家攏笑出聲續注目看一位約130斤ê長老娘,因為伊ê丈夫真瘦,到講演煞,長老娘笑笑對我講「先生真多謝,我e昏hō͘ 你請真飽」,我隨時kā伊會失禮,請伊原諒,伊koh kā我講:「我是teh kap你講笑,koh我也是結婚後才肥--ê,請你安心,」我聽了心才開,覺得講話是一件困難ê事。
Chèng Chhiū-á Chai Chio̍h-Thâu 種樹仔栽石頭

Sèng-keng Kong-hōe ê Gūi tiúⁿ-ló, koh khah sī chhù-bī, i iā ū chhōa góa khì Chiu chip-sū ê chhù khòaⁿ lân, i só͘ chèng ê lân, ū ê chi̍t-châng 5 chheng chí chi̍t-bān put-téng, góa khòaⁿ lóng m̄ chai ū hit ê kè-ta̍t, i iā chèng chin chōe kó͘-tóng-chhêng, múi-châng ū 1, 2 chheng-kho͘ ê kè-ta̍t, i kóng ū ê tiau 2, 3 cha̍p nî kú, ēng chin chōe kang, chóng-sī iáu kú tī pôaⁿ-n̍i̍h sòe-sòe châng, teh pâi kó͘-tóng, hō͘ góa siūⁿ kàu tī kin-á-ji̍t ê kàu-hōe, iû-goân ū pâi chin chōe lêng-miā bô tióng-chìn ê hiaⁿ-ché, chhin-chhiūⁿ Chiu chip-sū ê kó͘-tóng chhiū chi̍t-iūⁿ. Pó-lô iā bat tùi Ko-lîm-to ê sìn-tô͘ kóng “Góa bat ēng lin chhī lín, bô ēng bí-niû, in-ūi chêng bōe kham-tit, kàu-taⁿ iáu bōe ōe”. Lán Sìn Iâ-so͘ M̄ Thang Pháiⁿ Sim 咱信耶穌M̄ Thang歹心
Iû-goân tī Hoa-liân kàu-hōe só͘ thiaⁿ-tio̍h ê sū, ū chi̍t ūi Tiuⁿ chip-sū sī teh chò bí-siong, i tī 6 nî chêng lâi sìn Iâ-so͘, tùi 6 nî chêng saⁿ bat kàu-taⁿ i lóng kiò góa “Hiong-chhin--ê”, in-ūi i sī Lo̍k-káng lâng, góa sī Hô-bí lâng, tùi án-ni lâi khan chhin. I kā góa kóng, í-chêng lóng kap pháiⁿ-sim ê Ki-tok-tô͘ chò chhù-piⁿ, chi̍t-ê sī thè-jīm ê lāu thoân-tō (hiān-sî koh chhut-lâi chò kang) chi̍t-ê sī tiúⁿ-ló, in lóng chin pháiⁿ-sim, ka-kī oa̍h chiū hó, pa̍t-lâng sí liáu-liáu bô iàu-kín, góa mn̄g i, “in sī ū sím-mi̍h phiⁿ-khàm lí á m̄ sī?” I kóng, “He m̄ sī nò͘!” “Nā bô sī cháiⁿ-iūⁿ pháiⁿ-sim?” I ìn kóng, “Sìn Iâ-so͘ ê lâng ōe chiūⁿ thian-tông, bô sìn ê lâng ōe lo̍h tē-ge̍k, in kap góa chò chhù-piⁿ, m̄ bat chio góa sìn Iâ-so͘, án-ni bô pháiⁿ-sim mah?” Góa thiaⁿ-liáu siū tōa kám-kek. Chit-ūi chip-sū hu-hū sìn Chú 6 nî, í-keng chhōa kúi-nā hō͘ lâi sìn Chú, i kóng góa tek-khak m̄ ài chò chi̍t ê pháiⁿ-sim ê Ki-tok-tô͘. Chu-ūi Chú-lāi ê hiaⁿ-ché, lí sī pháiⁿ-sim ê, á sī hó-sim ê Ki-tok-tô͘? Pó-lô kóng “Hok-im góa nā bô thoân chiū ū chai-ē,” lán eng-kai tio̍h o̍h Tiuⁿ chip-sū ji̍t-ji̍t ūi Chú chò kiàn-chèng, hō͘ bān kok lóng kui Ki-tok sī sim só͘ goān. 猶原tī 花蓮教會所聽著ê事,有一位張執事是teh做米商,伊tī 6年前來信耶穌,tùi 6年前相bat到今攏叫我「鄉親--ê」,因為伊是鹿港人,我是和美人,tùi án-ni來牽親。伊kā我講:以前攏kap歹心ê基督徒做厝邊,一個是退任ê老傳道(現時koh出來做工)一個是長老,in攏真歹心,家己活就好,別人死了了無要緊,我問伊,「In是有甚mi̍h phiⁿ-khàm 你抑 m̄ 是?」伊講:「He m̄是nò͘!」「若無是怎樣歹心?」伊應講:「信耶穌ê人會上天堂,無信ê人會落地獄,in kap我做厝邊,m̄ bat招我信耶穌,án-ni無歹心mah?」我聽了受大感激。這位執事夫婦信主6年,已經chhōa幾若戶來信主,伊講我的確m̄ ài做一個歹心ê基督徒。諸位主內ê兄姐,你是歹心--ê,或是好心ê基督徒?保羅講:「福音我若無傳就有災禍,」咱應該著學張執事日日為主做見證,hō͘萬國攏歸基督是心所願。
