Sè-sio̍k bé án, iā tio̍h pān pán-lāi-pê liāu; ū nn̄g-sian chóa-ang-á it-lâm it-lí hō-chò koan-kán, ì-sù káⁿ-sī beh hō͘ sí- lâng chhe-ēng, bián-tit i léng-chēng. Koh ū chhâ-se chháu-chhio̍h beh hō͘ i thang ēng. Ū gia̍h lâng koh chò chi̍t- tè chhit-chheⁿ-pang lâi khòa tī pán-lāi ê ē-té, jiân-āu sin-si hē tī pang-téng-bīn. Chit-phìⁿ-pang chha̍k chhit-khang, chiū hō-chò Chhit-chheⁿ-pang. Sìn Chú lâng ēng chhit-chheⁿ-pang, nā kan-ta ēng chò khòa sin-si ê lō͘-ēng sī thang; î-chiá chóa-ang-á kap kúi-nā-hāng pa̍t-mi̍h tek-khak m̄-thang.

世俗買案,也著辦板內陪料;有兩仙紙尪仔一男一女號做「棺kàn」,意思敢是beh hō͘死人差用,免得伊冷靜。Koh有柴梳、草蓆beh hō͘伊thang用。有額人koh做一塊七星枋來掛tī板內ê下底,然後身屍下tī板頂面。這片枋chha̍k七孔,就號做「七星枋」。信主人用七星枋,若kan-ta用做掛身屍ê路用是thang;餘者紙尪仔kap幾若項別物的確m̄-thang。 |

論接板,也講接大厝 |
Pán beh kàu chhù ê sî, song-ka ê lâm-lí lóng tio̍h chhēng song-ho̍k, phè gîn- chóa,chò káu pê khì chi̍h, hō-chò chi̍h-pán iā kóng Chi̍h chhù. Pán kng kàu tiâⁿ-ni̍h hē-teh, chi̍h pán ê lâng chiong gîn-chóa tò tī pán ê lióng-pêng-piⁿ, jiân-āu koh pê kàu sì piⁿ lâi khàu. Iā ēng chi̍t-táu-bí, chi̍t chheng chîⁿ, ū lâng iā ēng chi̍t chiah pe̍h-ke, chò-hóe khòa tī pán-téng.

板beh到厝ê時,喪家ê男女攏著穿喪服,配銀紙,做狗爬去接號做接,也講「接厝」。板扛到埕裡下teh,接板ê人將銀紙倒tī板ê兩爿邊,然後koh爬到四邊來哭。也用一斗米、一千錢,有人也用一隻白雞,做伙掛tī板頂。 |

雖然無盡知逐項ê意思,若是活人爬去接死死ê棺柴,就是不通無理。若講hit具板是父母ê厝,著尊敬跪--伊,啥事m̄跪父母所起ê新厝?來跪柴做ê死板,敢 m̄是憨嗎? |

Kéng hó sî lâi siu sin-si lo̍h-chhâ hō-chò Ji̍p-bo̍k. Ji̍p-bo̍k hit-sî nā ū lâng seⁿ-siùⁿ kap sí-lâng sio-chhiong, put-lūn chhin-se tio̍h kiâⁿ-khui, m̄-thang óa khì khòaⁿ. Tio̍h ēng tāu-pô͘, chio̍h-thâu kap sí-lâng hē tī pán-lāi, chhut-soaⁿ kā i kóng, Tio̍h chio̍h-thâu nōa, tāu-sīⁿ chhut-gê, chiàⁿ thang kap kiáⁿ-sun sio- kìⁿ. Ì-sù sī kiaⁿ i sí-liáu ē lâi chhōa kiáⁿ-sun khì. Iā kiû i tio̍h pó-pì kiáⁿ- sun heng-ōng, hoat-ta̍t, pêng-an, sūn-sū.

揀好時來收身屍落柴號做「入木」。入木hit時若有人生相kap死人相沖,不論親疏著行開,m̄-thang倚去看。著用豆pô͘、石頭kap死人下tī板內,出山kā伊講:著石頭爛,豆豉出芽,才thangkap子孫相見。意思是驚伊死了會來chhōa子孫去。也求伊著保庇子孫興旺,發達、平安、順序。 |

若是hō͘人害死--ê,抑是kap人有冤仇惹禍致到死--ê,就hō͘伊舉劍kap桃枝,頭毛扑散,腳穿草鞋,頭塞黃紙聯。出聲kā伊講:害你,kap你有冤仇ê人,你著顯顯去chhōe伊。Che就是異端。上帝講:申冤道我,我的確報--伊。羅。12:19,申。32:35。死人的確bē會家己申冤,上帝才會。創4:9-11。 |

也著一副小牲禮tī棺邊來孝,有人也辦一篇祝文來讀。請父母齊全ê人來釘丁,釘丁ê時著講好話。丁頭著向出,取出丁ê意思。死人ê子孫男女,逐人舉一枝紅燈,點燭仔,se̍h棺來哭;正行三lìn,倒行三lìn。 |

Ji̍p-bo̍k liáu, koan hû chhut gōa-bīn khòa tī í-téng. Tō-sū ēng pe̍h-pò͘ lâi ōe chi̍t-sian siōng, khòaⁿ sí-lâng sī lâm á-sī lí, só͘ ōe ê siōng iā tio̍h hun lâm lí. Siōng ōe hó, the̍h cha-bó͘-kiáⁿ ê chîⁿ ēng pò͘ pau, ùn o͘ ba̍k lâi tǹg tī só͘ ōe ê siōng; hō-chò Ìn chîⁿ hoan. Siá sí-lâng ê seⁿ-sî ji̍t goe̍h, nî-hòe, hûn-bōng, chó͘- che̍k chiūⁿ sîn-chú. Sîn-chú siá hó, chhāi tī toh-téng; pâi seng-lé lâi hàu, hō-chò Khí-bé; lēng pān chi̍t hù seng- lé khì soaⁿ-n̍i̍h, koan lo̍h khòng iám-thó͘ liáu lâi hàu, hō-chò Lo̍h-bé.

入木了,棺扶出外面掛tī椅頂。道士用白布來畫一仙像,看死人是男抑是女,所畫ê像也著分男女。像畫好,提查某子ê錢用布包,搵烏墨來當tī所畫ê像;號做「印錢幡」。寫死人ê生時日月、年歲、墳墓、祖籍上神主。神主寫好,chhāi tī桌頂;排牲禮來孝,號做「起馬」;另辦一副牲禮去山--n̍i̍h,棺落壙掩土了來孝,號做「落馬」。 |

Sè-sio̍k ū sîn-chú kap tōng-hoan; sîn-chú chhāi tī bí-táu-lāi, tōa-kiáⁿ phō táu, chhiú kia̍h tōng-hoan. Ū gia̍h lâng ū tōa-sun kiō, chiū sîn-chú tōa-sun phō. Siáⁿ-sū tiōng tōa-sun? Kó͘-lé beh chè chó͘-chong, tio̍h hō͘ tōa-sun chhēng chó͘- chong ê i-chiûⁿ chē teh siū-chè, hō-chò Si-chú. Taⁿ bô ēng si-chú, iáu teh tiōng tōa-sun, sī sêng-chiap kó͘-lé ê liû- thoân.

世俗有神主kap幢旛;神主chhāi tī米斗內,大子抱斗,手舉幢旛。有額人有大孫轎,就神主大孫抱。啥事重大孫? 古禮beh祭祖宗,著hō͘大孫穿祖宗ê衣裳坐teh受祭,號做「尸主」。今無用尸主,iáu teh重大孫,是承接古禮ê流傳。 |

魂帛。用布,抑是絹,來入竹板,抑是枋仔,中央寫死人ê名姓歲壽,兩爿寫生時日月,就號做「魂帛」。意思是beh hō͘神魂依倚。Che是異端。好人死,魂即時到天堂,歹人死,魂liâm-piⁿ落地獄;thái- thó有神魂thang tiàm tī魂帛? |
Bêng-seng, sio̍k kóng, Lêng-cheng. Ēng âng-tiû siá pe̍h-jī. Chit hō mi̍h tû-khì koaⁿ-ke pù-lâng í-gōa chió lâng ēng. Chò Bêng-seng ê tn̂g-té, chiàu koaⁿ-chit phín-kip ê tōa-sè lâi hun. Ì- sù sī sí-lâng put-jím lī-pia̍t, só͘-í siá i-ê chiok-ūi tek-hēng lâi hián-bêng i.

明旌,俗講:「靈旌」。用紅綢寫白字。這號物除去官家富人以外少人用。做明旌ê長短,照官職品級ê大細來分。意思是死人不忍離別,所以寫伊ê爵位德行來顯明伊。 |

Pē ê hà-thn̄g tio̍h îⁿ-îⁿ, pí i chhin-chhiūⁿ thiⁿ; bó ê hàu-thn̄g tio̍h sì-liām, pí i chhin- chhiūⁿ tē. Sàng-chòng ê lâm lí kok lâng tio̍h kia̍h chi̍t ki âng-teng-á tiám- chek. Ì-sù sī kā sí-lâng chhiō kng, hō͘ i hó-kiâⁿ-lō͘. Tùi se̍h-koan kia̍h khí, kàu oân-soaⁿ liáu kùi tī lêng-toh-ē; kàu tû-lêng hit ji̍t chiàⁿ sio--khì. Ū lâng hiat tī lō͘-piⁿ. Hiān-sî hà-thn̄g ēng chiâⁿ-chhioh tn̂g, thái-thó ē hō͘ hàu-lâm chò-la̍t-tit. Sí-lâng bē khòaⁿ- kng, tiám teng-á sím-mi̍h lō͘-ēng? Só͘-í chit nn̄g-hāng sìn Chú lâng bián ēng.

紅燈。哀杖,俗講「孝堂」,孝堂。禮記聞喪kap喪服賜祭講,孝男悲傷父母死,憂悶無食,身軀衰lám;著拐仔hō͘伊舉才會行。設哀重ê意思是án-ni。父死,哀杖著用竹,竹ê紮tī外面;表明父ê建功立業在外頭。母死,孝堂著用桐樹,俗用「苦苓」,柴是實腹,表明母ê建功立業tī內面。父ê孝杖著圓圓,比伊親像天;母ê孝杖著四liām,比伊親像地。送葬ê男女各人著舉一枝紅燈仔點燭。意思是kā死人chhiō 光,hō͘伊好行路。Tùi se̍h棺舉起,到完山了掛tī靈桌下;到除靈hit日才燒--去。有人hiat tī路邊。現時孝杖用成尺長,thái-thó會hō͘孝男做力tit。死人bē看光,點燈仔甚mi̍h路用?所以這兩項信主人免用。 |
Kè-siū-têng. Ū lâng ōe sí lâng ê hêng-tô͘, hō-chò Khioh siáu-éng, iā kóng, Khioh tāi-siū. Chhut-chòng ê sî hit pak siáu-éng hē tī chhâ-kiō, kng tī koan chêng; hit téng- kiō chiū hō-chò Kè-siū-têng. Chòng liáu tò--lâi hit pak siū kùi tī An-lêng ê só͘-chāi.

過壽亭。有人畫死人ê形圖,號做「Khioh小影」,也講:Khioh大壽。出葬ê時hit幅小影下tī柴轎,扛tī棺前;hit頂轎就號做「過壽亭」。葬了倒-- 來hit幅壽掛tī安靈ê所在。 |

Ēng chóa kô͘ chi̍t sian lò-lò ê chóa-lâng, bīn-māu hiong-ok thang kiaⁿ, chhiú kia̍h lāi-khì, hō-chò Khai-lō͘-sîn. Nn̄g lâng ōe bīn, thâu-mn̂g phah-sòaⁿ, hû chóa-lâng lâi kiâⁿ. Ì-sù sī beh kóaⁿ-tio̍k hiong-sîn ok-soah, hō͘ bông-hûn bián kiaⁿ. Ū só͘-chāi bô ēng. Che sī īⁿ-toan. Kî-î môa-teng, âng-chhái, pe̍h- chhái kì-jiân m̄-sī īⁿ-toan, ēng iā bô hông, m̄ ēng iā ē chò--tit, m̄-bián khu- chip kòe-thâu.

用紙糊一先lò-lò ê紙人,面貌兇惡thang驚,手舉利器,號做「開路神」。兩人畫面,頭毛扑散,扶紙人來行。意思是beh趕逐兇神惡煞,hō͘亡魂免驚。有所在無用。Che是異端。其餘麻燈、紅綵、白綵既然m̄是異端,用也無防,m̄用也會做--tit,m̄免拘執過頭。 |

輓聯,俗講:聯軸,古樂。 |
Ū ke-sū ê lâng kòe-sin ū chhin-chiâⁿ pêng-iú, ēng tiû siá jī lâi chēng song- ka, hō-chò Liân-te̍k. Só͘ siá ê jī tāi- khài sī chheng-ho͘ o-ló kòe-sì ê lâng. Chhut-chòng ê sī song-ka pâi hiah-ê liân-te̍k tī koan-chêng chò êng-hián. Āu-lâi tiàu tī thiaⁿ-thâu. Che m̄-sī īⁿ- toan.

有家事ê人過身有親情朋友,用綢寫字來贈喪家,號做「聯軸」。所寫ê字大概是稱呼o-ló過世ê人。出葬ê是喪家排hiah-ê 聯軸tī棺前做榮顯。後來吊tī廳頭。Che m̄是異端。 |
Ū lâng mn̄g kóng, Ū só͘-chāi ê kàu- hōe ū kong ê liân-te̍k, liân-te̍k--n̍i̍h só͘ siá, khah chē sī piáu-bêng tō-lí, thang koh ēng mah? Ìn i kóng, Ū hit-hō mi̍h piān, beh ēng iā bô hông; bô hit-hō mi̍h iā bián tiâu-kang lâi chò. Sè-sio̍k só͘ hiâm put-chāi liân-te̍k.

有人問講,有所在ê教會有公ê聯軸,聯軸--n̍i̍h所寫,較濟是表明道理,thang koh用嗎?應伊講:有hit號物便,beh用也無防;無hit號物也免刁工來做。世俗所嫌不在聯軸。 |
Kó͘-ga̍k chiū-sī ta̍k hō ê ga̍k-khì, chhin-chhiūⁿ Kó͘-chhoe tōa lô hit-hō. Sè-sio̍k song-sū put-lī ga̍k-khì; chiàu in kóng, ū iu-būn ê phó͘, iā ū hoaⁿ-hí ê phó͘. Nā bô kó͘-chhoe sàng-chòng, chiū-sī ke̍k-sàn ê lâng. Chit-hāng sìn Chú ê lâng bián chip-it cheng-lūn. Song-ka nā chhim-chai tō-lí, bián ēng sī hó; siat-sú kian-chip beh ēng, chiū bián-kióng ap-chè i, iā sī kiáu-jiáu ê sū. Khó-í iû-chāi lâng phah-sǹg, hiān-sî bián li̍p tēng-kui.

古樂就是逐號ê樂器,親像鼓吹大鑼hit號。世俗喪事不離樂器;照in講,有憂悶ê譜,也有歡喜ê譜。若無鼓吹送葬,就是極散ê人。這項信主ê人免執一爭論。喪家若深知道理,免用是好;設使堅執beh用,就勉強壓制伊,也是攪擾ê事。可以由在人扑算,現時免立定規。 |

Chi̍t lâng the̍h gîn-chóa tī koan-chêng, thiah gîn-chóa hiat lo̍h thô͘, hō- chò Pàng-chóa. Khah siông sī kiáⁿ-sài teh pàng. Ì-sù sī beh hō͘ bông-hûn ū kì-jīn thang tò--lâi chhù--n̍i̍h. Ū lâng kóng, Sī kā soaⁿ-sîn bé lō͘ kòe.

一人提銀紙tī棺前,拆銀紙hiat落塗,號做「放紙」。較常是子婿teh放。意思是beh hō͘亡魂有記認thang倒--來厝--n̍i̍h。有人講,是kā山神買路過。 |
Chit-hō ê só͘-chāi sī put-thong bû lí. Nā sîn-hûn tio̍h jīn hit ê chóa chò kì- jīn, chiū ún-tàng ē kiâⁿ chhò lō͘. In-ūi hong chi̍t-ē chhoe, gîn-chóa chiū sì-kè poe, sì-sàn khì; kiám m̄-sī hāi bông- hûn bô soaⁿ bô sū mah? Nā kóng tio̍h bé lō͘ chiàⁿ ē-tit kòe, chiū bōe ū chóa ê sî, bông-hûn m̄-chai thái ū lō͘ thang kòe?

這號ê所在是不通無理。若神魂著認hit 個紙做記認,就穩當會行錯路。因為風一下吹,銀紙就四界飛、四散去;敢 m̄是害亡魂無soaⁿ無sū嗎?若講著買路正會得過,就bōe有紙ê時,亡魂m̄知thái有路thang過? |

Tē-lí-su keh keⁿ pí jī-hiòng, hō͘ thó͘-kong khui-chò, hō-chò Khui-khòng. Sè- sio̍k nā bô tē-lí-su chhōe tē kah keⁿ, chiū kiaⁿ siong soah, kiáⁿ-sun bē heng-ōng. Che chiū-sī īⁿ-toan. Sèng-keng kóng, Bān-hāng hó ê siúⁿ-sù tùi Siōng-tè chhut (Ngá-kok 1:17) Tek-khak m̄-sī tùi hûn-bōng lâi.

著揀好時日才免驚相煞。一個親人穿素衣包白,辦一副牲禮kap地理師去,排牲禮燒香,跪teh kā土地公乞地,續求伊保祐。求了掘土,號做「破土」。地理師隔庚比字向,hō͘土公開作,號做「開炕」。世俗若無地理師chhōe地kah庚,就驚相煞,子孫bē興旺。che就是異端。聖經講:萬項好ê賞賜tùi上帝出(雅各1:17)的確m̄是tùi墳墓來。 |

若beh有地靈會致蔭人,地理師會chhōe好穴,就散hiong卑賤ê人,永無出頭ê日子,因為無錢thang請先生chhōe地;天子、諸侯、卿相會久長興旺,代代榮顯;因為有權有勢thang揀好地理。怎樣朝代會變換,公、侯、卿相無定著人? |

Bâi-chòng liáu tò--lâi, chhāi chi̍t- tháng chúi tī tiâⁿ--n̍i̍h, tō-sū sio hû hō͘ lóng-chóng tàu kha-chhiú ê lâng lâi sé, hō-chò Sé-chēng; ì-sù sī sé liáu chiū m̄-sī chheⁿ-ba̍k, chiàⁿ bē chhek--tio̍h lâng. Iā tio̍h kàu chó-iū-lîn mn̂g-kháu, tō-sū liām chiù iô giang-á, ēng tek-se hiù chúi; iā sī sé chheng ê ì-sù.

埋葬了倒--來,chhāi 一桶水tī埕--n̍i̍h,道士燒符hō͘攏總鬥跤手ê人來洗,號做「洗淨」;意思是洗了就m̄是青目,才bē chhek 著人。也著到左右鄰門口,道士念咒搖giang仔 ,用竹梳hiù水;也是洗清ê意思。 |

Lêng-chhù ê lióng-pêng ū só͘-chāi pâi sí-lâng ê i-chiûⁿ, ê, bō, kap i pêng-ji̍t teh iōng iàu-kín ê mi̍h-kiāⁿ. Lêng-chhù chêng pâi chi̍t-tè toh, chhāi bo̍k-chú hiuⁿ-lô͘, hō-chò Lêng-toh. Chá-àm tio̍h sio-hiuⁿ tiám-chek, ta̍k-ji̍t nn̄g-pái thiⁿ-pn̄g lâi kháu,hō-chò hàu-pn̄g. Ū só͘-chāi ê hong-sio̍k kìⁿ saⁿ-tǹg thiⁿ chi̍t-óaⁿ pn̄g chhāi tī sí-lâng pêng-sî só͘ chē ê ūi. 三日糊一座紙厝chhait7?廳頭,號做「靈厝」;厝內有魂身,也有男童女婢跟隨tī面前;意思是beh侍候亡魂。靈厝ê兩爿有所在排死人ê衣裳、鞋、帽kap伊平日teh用要緊ê物件。靈厝前排一塊桌,chhāi木主香爐,號做「靈桌」。早暗著燒香點燭,逐日2擺添飯來哭,號做「孝飯」。有所在ê風俗見三頓添一碗飯chhāi tī死人平時所坐ê位。Hit位別人m̄-thang坐。 |
Thàu-chá thàu-àm tī khiā-lêng ê só͘- chāi lâi khàu, hō-chò Kiò khí Kiò khùn. Nā ū chhin-chiâⁿ pêng-iú lâi bāi-song, chú-lâng tio̍h ī-pī ta̍k-hāng hó-sè, chiàⁿ chhōa i kàu lêng-chêng lâi sio-hiuⁿ, kìⁿ ū lâng lâi bāi-song, ta̍k pái tio̍h thî- khàu, bô án-ni chiū m̄-sī lé, lâng chiū hiâm i put-hàu.

透早透暗tī企靈ê所在來哭,號做「叫起叫睏」。若有親情朋友來覓喪,主人著預備逐項好勢,才chhōa伊到靈前來燒香,見有人來覓喪,逐擺著啼哭,無án-ni就m̄是禮,人就嫌伊不孝。 |

有所在是到7日才辦牲禮去孝,續引魂倒--來,意思是講,死人7日才知伊死lah,來問土地公ê路徑;所以喪家也著一副牲禮祭土地,求伊指點亡魂。 |
